    Tuition Assistance Information
    School Year 2009-2010

Tuition for the 2010-2011 academic year is $10,800, plus a $275 technology fee and an activity fee of $175. Financial aid is available to you. Our financial aid program provides financial assistance to many students who would otherwise be unable to attend. Although our funds are limited, we attempt to assist as many students as possible. To help us determine financial need, we use Private School Aid Service (PSAS). PSAS is an organization that analyzes a family’s income to assist schools in making financial aid decisions.

    Scholarships

Ursuline Academy awards academic scholarships to incoming freshmen based solely on Entrance Test results. Additional financial scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen based upon Entrance Test results and financial need. Families must complete the Private School Aid Service Student Aid Form to be eligible for need based scholarships.

    Grants

The Ursuline Academy Board of Trustees has established a Grant Program to help ease the financial burden for some families.  Grants are based solely on financial need. Families must complete the Private School Aid Service Student Aid Form to be eligible.

    Work-Study

Ursuline Academy sponsors a Work-Study Program.  The Work-Study Program provides assignments in a lab, art studio, library, school office, or school department.  Students are paid at the minimum wage (currently $7.30 per hour) rate.  Their earnings are accumulated and deducted from their tuition balance each month.  Call the school office to request information about the work-study program.

    Minority Student Aid

The Fund for Independent Schools of Cincinnati (FISC) and The Queen City Foundation provide additional financial aid for African-American students.

    Applying for Assistance

To apply for financial aid, please call the school office (791-5791) to request a Private School Aid Service Form.

If you receive financial aid now, you must reapply for financial aid for future academic years.
